Automatic Work Distribution Portal (AWD)
An enterprise imaging and workflow system used to track and process work.
Branch
(In GAIN)
Each Policy is assigned a branch or multiple branches for various reasons. For only one branch, the number assigned would be 0 (00######-0000) and all Policy Holder locations and products are compiled under this one branch. For multiple branches, numbers are assigned beginning at 0 to the number of branches needed.The reason for the multiple branches are usually for Policyholder billing purposes (such as multiple locations or different product lines).

(Employee Benefits Website)
This site (www.employeebenefits.com) is used both internally by associates and externally by policyholders and employees to locate information and forms. This is the location all active certificates are housed.
Group Associates Information Network (GAIN)
EB’s premium and contract administration system. It is used to generate policy numbers and contracts, pay claims, administer premium, and calculate commissions. All policyholders have a record in GAIN. This is also sometimes called the AS400 system. System used to bill, generate certificates/policies, pay claims, apply premium, and pay commissions. Gain also houses information such as group effective date of coverage, date of endorsements, employer contact, account manager contact, special notes regarding the policyholder etc.
iBill (Internet Billing)
EB’s online billing system, available internally to associates and externally to policyholder(s) (PH). not all PH choose to use ibill. If a PH does elect ibill, it can be used as a resource to verify proof of enrollment, and changes made to an employee’s elections.
IMS21 (Imaging Management System)
A system that stores images of documents such as contracts, bills, policyholder and employee files, emails, and other records. These files are categorized by policyholder and employee number and can be retrieved for viewing and printing. This system was replaced by AWD, but can still be used to access historical information.
Information stopped being uploaded to IMS21 around 2017.
(Portable Document Format)
A file format designed to present documents consistently across multiple devices and platforms.
Representatives for the Enterprise and Producer Support (REPS)
An enterprise database used to capture and manage agent information.
