Q

How does the system approach work as in step by step ?

A
  • input starts the process
  • process: the thought process in the middle
  • output is rhetorical response or outcome

Example
Input: coin slot
Process: coin counter
Output: drink dispenser

Q

What are block diagrams ?

A

Clear and simple diagram showing all of the input, process and output elements

Example would be

Input- on and off switch
Electricity
Process- boiler and pump
Hot water
Output- radiator
Temperature

Q

What are flowcharts ?

A

Clear diagrams showing the individual steps taken to make something

  • Arrow means a connector
  • Rectangle means a process
  • Diamond represents a decision
  • Parallelogram rperesnrs an input/ output
  • Oval shape represents the start or end
