Usable 24 gallons
Unusable 0.5 gallons
Cabin Heat
Switch next to the parking brake
Takes air from the casing around the exhaust pipe and brings it to the cabin
Landing Gear Description
Fixed, three-wheel landing gear
Front-wheel has a removable boot to improve performance
Brakes
Brake Fluid, Red
Fluid starts at the co-pilot side, when pressure is applied to a brake, a column of fluid is pushed through the tubes and applies pressure onto the brake pads to stop the wheel from turning.
If the pilot side breaks, the co-pilot side will break as well.
Engine decirption
Continental IO-240-B
125HP
Fuel-injected, 4 stroke, 4 cylinder, horizontally opposed and air-cooled cylinders and heads.
Propeller
Fixed pitch, wood, Sensenich propeller
A composite layer is over the wood to protect the prop from the elements
Gascolator
basin at the lowest point of the fuel tank where sediment settles.
Fuel Primer
Electronic fuel pump used to prepare engine for start
Generator
A 40 amp generator
circuit breakers will pop when exceeding 50 amps
The generator warning light will activate when a gen fault occurs

Why do we lean mixture for taxi?
We lean the mixture during taxi to prevent buildup on the sparkplugs
Generator
40 amp generator, the generator feeds the electrical bus through the generator circuit breakers (50 amps).
