  • Try mobile phone.
  • Microphone fault: use one of 3 hand microphones. Oxygen masks also have microphones built in.
  • Squawk 7600 and START TIMER.
  • Transmit blind.
  • Use MCDU callsign and XPDR to transmit messages to ATC. Use IDENT function.
