O: Ant-lat portion of ribs 1-9
I: Anterior surface of the medial boarder of scapula
A: protraction and upwards rotation of the scapula at the ScC joint
Long thoracic nerve
Dosal scapular and lateral thoracic
External intercostals
O: Inferior border of 1 rib
I: superior surface of rib directly below (fibers same as external oblique)
A: elevation of ribs 2-12 at sternocostal and costal spinal joint (during inspiration)
Intercostal nerves
Anterior and posterior intercostal arteries
Internal Intercostals
O: Superior border of 1rib
I inferior surface of rib directly above (fibers same as internal obliques)
A: depresses ribs 1-11 at sternocostal and costospinal joint (during expiration)

Clavicular: medial 1/3 of clavicle
I: mastoid process of temporal bone and lateral half of superior nuchal line of occiput
Flexion of lower neck at the spinal joint
Extension of the head and upper neck at the spinal joint
lateral flexion and contralateral rotation of the head and neck at the spinal joint
Spinal accessory nerve (CN XI)
Trapezius
Upper: EOP and MED 1/3 of superior Nuchalline and nuchal ligament and SP C7 to Acromion and Lat 1/3 clavicle. Action is elevate scapula at ScC jt
Middle SPs of T1-T5 to Acromion and spine of scapula
Lower: SPs of T6-T12 to Root of spine of scapula. Action is depressing scapula at ScC jt
All fivers will retract the scapula at the Scapulocostal joint
