TFM, what happens at 51k fuel level?
No more fuel transferred aft.
TFM, what happens at 11.5 fuel level?
Tail fuel metered forward to keep tips full.
TFM, Below FL180 and configured:
Tail fuel is trapped
TFM Terminated when:
- INOP hardware
- Inop data
- Cold fuel recirculation unsuccessful
Cold Fuel Recirc (TAIL), fuel within 5 degrees of freeze point:
1/3 of quantity sent forward and exchanged with fuel from another tank
Cold Fuel Recirc (TAIL), fuel within 3 degrees of freeze point:
Amber “FUEL TEMP LO”
TFM is terminated and amber “TAIL FUEL FWD”
Tail Ballast Fuel Limitation:
All fuel must be Ballast, no usable.
When should the Tail Tank Transfer pumps be turned off on the MX panel?
When there is Ballast fuel in the tail. No TFM.
When is Fuel Dump inhibited?
NEVER
