Q

Name the different types of Filtering

A
  1. LPF: all frequencies below the cut off point can pass through
  2. HPF: all frequencies above the cut off point can pass through
  3. Band Pass Filter: combination of LPF and HPF - all frequencies not affected by either pass through
  4. Botch filter: used to cut specific frequencies - extreme band pass
  5. Shelving filter: e.g. tone controls on hifis and guitar amps
