Repetition

Parallelism
using similar words, clauses, phrases, sentence structure, or other grammatical elements to emphasize similar ideas in a sentence.
Paradox
a statement or situation that may be true but seems impossible or difficult to understand because it contains two opposite facts or characteristics.
Anaphora
the repetition of beginning of the sentence.
Expletive
a short phrase that is not needed.
Inversion
an inverted sentence is one in which the verb comes before the subject.
Enumeration
the act or process of making or stating a list of things one after another.
Periodic
longer with many clauses. main idea and verb come at end.
Cumulative
longer with many clauses. main idea and verb come at beginning.
