MARFANS

Major criteria (diagnostic if > 2 )

  • aortic dissection / dilatation
  • regurgitation aortic value
  • lens dislocation upwards (ectopia lentis);
  • fingers long; arachnodactyly + other skeletal features:, armspan > height, pectus deformity, scoliosis, pes planus
  • spine: dural ectasia (ballooning on dural sac)

Minor signs

  • mitral valve prolapse
  • nasal voice: high arched palate
  • joint hypermobility
