  • coma
  • Cheyne - stokes respiration (alt between hyperventilation + apnoea )
  • pupil changes (constriction first, later dilatation)
  • papilloedema
    → absent venous pulsation at the disc + vessel engorgement
    -→ disc margins red (hyperaemic)
    → disc margins blurry, haemorrhages in retina
