There is a congestion charge - this is a charge of £11.50 that every commuter has to pay when they go into the charging zone between 7am and 6pm on Monday - Friday.

Boris Bikes - 750 docking stations and 11,000 bikes; £2 to hire for 24 hours; £90 for a years registration; reduces the number of cars in the city centre.
Bus lane - encourages people to use public transport; reduces the amount of pollution that the buses create while idle.
