What are the indications for elective repair of AAA
A
1) Aneurysms >5cm in women and >5.5cm in men (risk of rupture increases to >5-10%/year)
2) Increase in size >0.5cm in 6months (REGARDLESS OF SIZE)
3) Chronic abdominal pain
4) Thomboembolic complications
5) Iliac or femoral artery aneurysms that cause lower limb ischemia
6) Aneurysms >4.5 in pts with Marfans
