Q

How do you find the SA of a cylinder?

A

When finding the SA for a cylinder, first find the area of each circle, then to figure out the length of the rectangle by finding the circumference of the circle. Then plus them all together.

Q

How do you convert units of volume?

A

To convert 10mm cubed into cm you need to divide by 10 cubed to get cm then to get meters divide by 100 cubed and so on the same except multiply to get meters cubed to mm cubed. Don’t forget to cube the 10, 100 and 1000.

Q

How do you find the height of a rectangular prism if given the total volume?

A

Step 1: Write out V = Shapes area formula
Step 2: Write out the answer, 420 = (12 x 5) x H
Step 3: Find the answer to the numbers you have, 420/60 = 60/60 x H
