involves a country getting its own way by force , military,

involves gentle persuasion by verbal argument or diplomacy

domination by one superpower e.g british empire, US now

many superpowers and emerging powers compete for power in different regions

is a form of indirect control over developing countries. power without responsibility . exploitation
