Why is the Sunderbans National Park so important?
A
- It is a tiger biosphere reserve.
- It holds huge amount of animals, insects, and vegetation as well as the endangered bengal tigers (e.g. Ridley sea turtle, leopard cats, wild boars,…)
- It is a nursery for newborn species.
- It acts as a protective barrier against flooding.

- An increase in demand for visitation
