The only solution to life of unyielding mental distress or unbearable social situations.
Can be a form of protest, a way of avoiding shame, euthanasia.
Increased by mental illness:
- Bipolar disorder
- Depression
- Borderline PD
- Anorexia
- Substance abuse
- Self-harm
- Previous attempts
