  • at elevated stations EED will be located in area of full time token booth
  • An EED is located at base of emergency exit at both ends of under river tunnel

A
  • Fully automated system, operates UNMANNED, but has controls which can be operated manually onboard by air train personnel if needed
  • NO cameras on trains or along guideway
  • Moving train cannot detect persons or objects
  • (10) stations, (6) in central terminal, ALL fully enclosed
  • ALL stations have smoke detectors, heat detectors, and sprinklers
  • Emergency telephone on each platform which provides dict line to air train operations center
  • Blue light power removal at each end of platform
  • Inside power removal box is a RED power removal button, which when depressed removes power to both inbound and outbound tracks for at least the length of the station and a schematic showing tracks that have been de-energized

  • one wheel has RED SQUARE painted on surface, this is location of wheel lock
  • (2) rail carts can be connected using cone for plate
  • Wheel lock MUST be used when cart left unattended.
