What is self-concept?

A

Self Concept is the idea of the self constructed by the beliefs one holds about themselves and the responses of others.

According to Merriam Webster, self concept refers to the idea that a person has about who they are.

Self- concept refers to the totality of a complex, organized and dynamic system of learnt beliefs, attitudes and opinions that one holds true about ones personal existence.
