A

Variant of frontotemporal dementia

Characterised by loss in semantic memory (facts/general knowledge) both verbal and non verbal

What is Alzheimer’s

A

Progressive deterioration of network connection between nerve cells in the brain
Leads to death of nerve cells and brain tissue
Leads to severe memory loss as tend to have early damage in hippocampus
