Spleen- Filters the blood and removes any damaged red blood cells. This is also the site where platelets are stored.

Trachea- To transport air to and from the lungs

Oesophagus- A muscular tube which transports food from the mouth to the stomach

Heart- Responsible for delivering blood circulation and transporting nutrients through all parts of the body.

Lungs- Diffuses oxygen into the body and diffuses waste gases such as carbon dioxide out of the body

Liver- It removes toxins from the body’s supply, maintains healthy blood sugar levels, and regulates blood clotting.

Diaphragm- a thin skeletal muscle that allows you to inhale and exhale

Mesentary- attaches your intestines to the abdmonen wall in order to keeps the intestines in place.

Stomach- holds food while its being mixed with stomach enzymes

Caecum- absorbs fluids and salts that remain after the digestion of food has gone through the intestines. The remains are mixed with mucus.

Small intestine- It digests food that comes from the stomach into smaller components
Large intestine- to absorb water and salts from the material that has not been digested as food and turns waste into a solid

Kidney- to cleanse the blood of toxins and transform the waste into urine.

Ureter- transports urine from the kidneys to the bladder

Pancreas- produces enzymes that break down all different components of food
It produces sodium carbonate and other enzymes.

Urinary bladder- where urine is kept before it leaves the body.

Adrenal glands- produce hormones that help regulate regulate important functions needed for human life such as immune response
an example of a hormone that is secreted by an adrenal gland is adrenaline.

Thyroid gland- It makes two hormones that are secreted into the blood which are T3 and T4. These hormones are necessary for all the cells in your body to work normally and perform essential functions such as metabolism.

Gall bladder- It stores bile whcih helps your digestive system emulsify fats.

Goblet cell- the site where mucus is secreted

Skin- Acts as a physical, biological, chemical barrier, regulates temperature, and acts as a blood resevoir

Sebaceous glands- produces and secretes sebum which is an oily substance that forms a protective coating on the skin’s surface.

Sweat glands- regulates the body temperature. Cools down the body if hot

Fibroblast- They secrete the fibres and the ground substance.
