7) Elderly patient post-op day 10 from a hip surgery presents with new onset sensory neglect and inferior quadrantanopsia. Diagnosis? Localization? Treatment?

A

MCA inferior branch stroke affecting the R parietal region causing hemispatial neglect of the non-dominant spacial hemisphere (left).
TPa is contraindicated in a patient within 14 days of a major surgery.
