What is an ischaemic stroke
A
Stroke caused by a blood clot which can lead to death

A
Stroke caused by a blood vessel rupturing resulting in bleeding

A
Stroke caused by the blood supply temporarily being disrupted (24 hours)

A
CT Scan, MRI , ultrasound

What is the initial treatment for a minor stroke
A
Loading doses
Dual antiplatelet therapy: Aspirin 75mg OD and clopidogrel 75mg od for 21 days

A
Aspirin 300mg od for 14 days then clopidogrel 75mg od
