What are the components of the ABCD2 score?

A

Age
* ≥60yo = 1pt
* <60yo = 0pt
BP when first assessed after TIA
* SBP ≥140mmHg or DBP ≥90mmHg = 1pt
* SBP <140mmHg and DBP <90mmHg =0pt
Clinical features
* Unilateral weakness = 2pt
* Isolated speech disturbance = 1pt
* Other = 0pt
Duration of TIA symptoms
* ≥60 minutes = 2pt
* 10-59 minutes = 1pt
* <10 minutes = 0pt
Patient has DM = 1pt
