A

Susac syndrome is a small vessel vasculitis that commonly presents with a triad of hearing loss, visual changes (due to branch retinal artery occlusions) and encephalopathy.

what is the link between lupus and stroke?

A

Lupus can cause CNS vasculitis, which can lead to stroke. It can also cause Libman sacks endocarditis which could cause a cardioembolic stroke. In addition to these, lupus is linked to antiphospholipid syndrome which can cause arterial clots and strokes
