A
Includes an Actus Reus only; Mens Rea has no relevance.
Merely performing the act is enough to make a person guilty. Many motoring offences are strict liability.
Strict liability crimes were originally created to make it easier to prove guilt for businesses related offences in the 19th century.
If Men’s Rea not required, conviction rates increased and so factory safety increased
