Burnout is a state of physical emotional and mental exhaustion caused by long-term involvement in situations that are emotionally demanding
Burnout refers to a debilitating psychological condition brought about by unrelieved work stress
The state of being burned out is severe emotional fatigue resulting in negative attitudes and feelings towards both coworkers and inmates

What is an effective way to deal with stress?
Eliminate the negative
Accentuate the positive
Positive thinking, focus on your strengths, learn from your stress, look for opportunities, seek out the positive
