- there was a higher incidence of avoidant (type a) attachments - 43% among children under 12 months who experiences more than 20hrs a week on non-maternal care than children who experienced less than 20hrs a week
- boys whose mothers worked full time, so experienced full time day care (35 hours per week), had more insecure attachments with their fathers than other boys did
