Strengths Based Q Flashcards
What does success look like to you?
Emotional success – Relationships and contentment
Intellectual success – Learning, understanding,
challenging
Spiritual success – Sense of purpose, belonging,
reason
Collective success – The product of effective
teamwork
Do what’s right, the right way, at the right time. The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.
Success and failures are alternate cycles in everybody’s life. Success is enjoying what we are doing because when we enjoy our work, we are also able to endure pains. And since it is cyclic in nature, success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure.
What energises you?
Doing something I’m good at- excelling
Doing something I’m not good at - challenge, overcoming obstacles
Sense of purpose, belonging, reason

How would your close friends describe you?
Confident, caring and sociable. It is important to me to maintain relationships and check up on people so I think many would describe my emotional intelligence of knowing how and what to say when people are going through a tough time is one of my key strengths.
Do you most like starting tasks or finishing them?
It’s difficult to choose between the two: I like embarking on new things as I think the initial buzz out of a new task is exciting in itself, I also think that seeing through a difficult obstacle is equally rewarding, especially when it’s a collaborative effort.
Do you prefer the big picture or the small details?
I believe I am capable of seeing both points of view at work.
I love working with numbers and facts, meaning I am more detail-oriented. Keywords. What sparks an individual.
