The representation of a person in a dramatic work such as film, tv etc.

Opening sequence refers to the opening scenes of a film/television program. The opening sequence establishes characters and narrative possibilities
The closing sequence refers to the closing scenes of a film/television program. The closing sequence provides resolution
Cause and effect
Describes how narratives are organised in a chain that creates events in the narrative
Setting
The place/places in which a narrative is set
Structuring of time
Refers to the ways in which time can be expanded contracted or structured mainly using editing
Multiple storylines
Refers to how narratives may use different storylines or subplots
Point of view
The point of view from which the narrative is presented, the character or characters that the audience is encouraged to identify with
