Translation

A

Stick with the people of etiquette
You will experience an amazing time

Do not compete with possessions
And do not boast about lineage

Honour is in trustworthiness
And elegance in smartness

Don’t annoy the one who sits with you
And you do not oppress the close friend

Don’t frequently blame
Don’t drive away companions

So an increase in rebuking
Calls to separation

And if you come to a gathering
Between the counsel of leaders

Then seek the contentment of the group
And be an obedient slave

And say from speech
What is superior with the place

Like the beauty of poems
And the pleasant communication

And leave the speech of lowly people
And everyday jokes

And don’t be stubborn
And avoid jesting

For excessive shamelessness
Is a type of insanity.
