- Limestone - buff/gray

- Flagstone - cut from sandstone, naturally rough
Metamorphic: (sedimentary or igneous rock altered by heat and pressure)
- Slate - fine grained, used for roofing, dark
- Marble - layers of shells which under heat and pressure form in a composition of crystalline grains of calcite and dolomite; range of oclors; high maintenance
Igneous: (solidified molton rock)
- Granite - hard, durable low maintenance
