Q

5 arteries

A

-Left gastric artery: branch of celiac, runs along lesser curvature
-Right gastric:
branch of hepatic of celiac, runs along lesser curvature
-Short gastric
arise from splenic, pass in gastrosplenic lig
-Left gastroepiploic
from splenic, pass in gastrosplenic lig along greater curvature
-Right gastroepiploic
-from gastroduodenal artery of hepatic, passes to left along greater curvature

Q

Veins

A
  • all drain into portal circulation
  • right and left gastric veins drain directly into portal vein
  • short gastric and legt gastroepiploic join splenic vein
  • right gastroepiploic vein drains into sup mesenteric vein
17
Q

Lymph drainage

A
  • follow arteries
  • first drain into left and right gastric nodes, left and right gastroepiploic and short gastric nodes
  • all lymph collected at celiac nodes
18
Q

Sympathetic fibres

A

Vasoconstrictors, antiperistaltic, carry pain sensation. From celiac plexus.

19
Q

Anterior vagal trunk (parasym)

A
  • formed from left vagus, supplies ant surface of stomach

- gives off hepatic br and from this a branch to pylorus

20
Q

Posterior vagal trunk

A
  • formed from right vagus, supp post surface of stomach

- gives off large branch to celiac and sup mesenteric plexuses
