What are raw materials?
Are basic materials not ready for the manufacturing of products. Raw materials have not been machined/prepared into stock sizes that can be used by manufacturing industry on a production line
List 3 reasons for standard forms
- transported and handled more easily than raw materials
- cheaper than special sizes
- the same in most countries
What are the two shape sections of wood you can get?
Round, Square
What is the difference between PSE and rough sown wood?
Rough sawn wood is not smooth

Skirting boards and frames

Thin cuts of wood glued onto other materials
