Royal Tokaji Company 5 Puttonyos 11.5% story & characteristics

The vineyards lie at the convergence of two main rivers. It is the presence of these rivers that encourages the early morning mists to flow across the grapes, providing the perfect environment for botrytis to flourish.
This Tokaji is made in a traditional manner from the classic blend of Furmint Hàrslevelü and Muskotály grape varieties. A wine with lovely sweetness, balanced by a pronounced fresh acidity.
Flavor: nose of orange peel, figs and cinnamon
Food pairing: White Chocolate, Sudachi Curd
Tawny Dee Niepoort (TAWNY PORT) 20%ABV story
Story: The Niepoort family has been making port since 1842. Fifth generation Dirk Niepoort continues these ancient traditions handed down through his family, using only the finest grapes, foot-trodden, wild-yeast fermenting, and ageing in old-fashioned ‘port-pipes’.
This produces a range of outstanding ports. The barrel ageing of this Tawny-Dee gives it those characteristic figgy, dates and raisin notes to offset the rich, red-fruit flavours.
