At this stage we are determining if the patient can walk. how should we do this and what are we looking for ?
A
dot his by asking the patient to walk across the room.
Looking for; altered gait or unnatural movement. look to see if the patient is protecting an injury by walking on the ball of their foot.

what should we see for normal gait?
A
the knee should be fully extended at heel strike and flexed at all other phases of swinging and stance.
