Cells that are able to divide multiple times, using a process called mitosis

The brain, the heart, bone marrow, blood vessels, skin, teeth

The tips of shoots and the tips of roots

How are STEM Cells used in plants?
A
They are used as a source of new cells. They can also be used to replace certain tissues

A
Leukaemia. They can also be used to help replace cells lost during the process of chemotherapy.
