Statistics Estimation Flashcards

1
Q

CI for population mean?

A

CI95= mean + or - (t n-1) SEM

•perform both + and - so you get lower and upper CI
df= n-1 then read value on t table

95 is reliability value 5 is error risk

Q

Association between t calculated and t table?

A

If t table > t calculated, p is small.
so : p<alpha reject H0

9
Q

Difference between CI and hypothesis testing?
