CAT 1: 6 months if with seizure and all investigations normal. Otherwise 1 year minimum

CAT 2: 5 years if one-off seizure. Otherwise 10 years

The DVLA and diabetes

Insulin therapy or hypoglycaemia -> inform the DVLA (CAT 1 & 2)

Oral therapy only -> inform DVLA only if CAT 2 license
