what happens when you rub two insulators together
one of them gains electrons and becomes negatively charged whilst the other loses electrons and becomes positively charged.

the closer you are to the source the stronger the force
the further the weaker
How do you represent an electric field
Use an charged object and draw lines perpendicular to it
If the object is POSITIVELY charged draw arrows away
if the object is NEGATIVELY charged draw arrows inwards
