Deals with state laws, family issues, traffic, and other minor issues (Disputes between people in florida)
How many judges does the florida Supreme Court have?
Seven judges (appointed by the governor from a list a candidates)
How many years do these judges serve for?
6 years and retained by people during elections
What is the court that hears felonies and civil cases dealing with large amounts of money?
Trial courts of general jurisdiction.
Which court hears misdemeanors and civil cases dealing with small amounts of money?
Trial courts of limited jurisdiction.
