9
Q

What is the apparent magnitude of a star.

A

The apparent magnitude of a celestial body is a measure of its brightness as seen by an observer on Earth, adjusted to the value it would have in the absence of the atmosphere. The brighter of the object appears, the lower the value of its magnitude.

A

Yellow

19
Q

How is the sun like other stars?

A

It is very hot, last for a long time, and they fuse hydrogen into helium.

20
Q

What part of the sun is a photosphere?

A

At the part it becomes completely opaque.

A

The rays of light.

23
Q

What are sunspots?

A

A spot or patch appearing from time to time on the suns surface, appearing dark by contrast with its surroundings.

24
Q

What are coronal mass ejections?

A

A massive burst of solar wind and magnetic fields rising above the solar corona or being released into space.
