What is an “End On” stage?
A
The audience sits in front of the performers

What is an “Apron” stage?
A
Same as end on, but with a small area added to he front of the stage to create an “apron stage”

What is a “Thrust” stage?
A
The stage extends into the audience so that the audience are on three sides of the performers

What is a “Traverse” stage?
A
The audience sits at both sides of the performers and the performance space is narrower

What is an “In The Round” stage?
A
There is a round performance area and the audience sits on all sides

What is an “Arena” stage?
A
Similar to in the round, but the stage is not round
