What is the cognitive stage of learning?
This is the first stage of learning, the beginner phase, learners attention is directed to trying to understand the new skill, the performer will make many errors and struggles to understand why the errors occur.
What is the associative stage?
the learner is able to understand and refine the basic mechanics, works towards refining and replicating the required movement pattern, begins to understand why they make errors and starts to comprehend and adopt strategies to correct these errors.
what is the autonomous stage
performance is almost automatic, highly skilled little errors, multitasking is evident, able to adjust to game environment, greater tactical awareness, ability to correct errors.
