A
Relative density is simply a ratio of the density of the substance in question to that of fresh water.

A
Freeboard is the vertical distance between the waterline and the top of the uppermost continuous deck. It is expressed in millimetres and measured amidships.

What is Dock Water Allowance?
A
The Dock Water Allowance of the ship is the number of millimetres by which they mean draught changes when a ship passes from salt water to dock water, or vice versa, when the ship is loaded to summer displacement.
