What is a speech sound disorder?
An impairment in an individual’s sound system resulting in sound production difficulties. It can be phonological or motor.
Types of SSD by phon or motor:
motor: Articulation impairment, Dysarthria, CAS
Phonological: Phonological impairment, inconsistent speech disorder.
