When: April 6th, 1917
Why:Because German submarines sank the Lusitania which prompted anger among the American people.
What is the Treaty that ended WWI called?
The Treaty of Versailles.
What did Germany have to do according the Treaty of Versailles?
They had to pay high cost of WWI, must down size military, give up land, and take blame of causing WWI.
Why were the Nazis able to gain support?
Because the Nazi party spread messages about hope and solutions to Germany’s problems.
