the senate votes to appoint them and then the president appoints them

The supreme court it to hear cases that involved two or more states and unbiased and keep order among the states

The first ten amendments that were added and were made to give citizens simple rights and limit power against the people

protection against unreasonable search and seizure
5th amendment
the right to a fair and speedy trial, also cant have double jeopardy - can be accused of the same crime twice.
