A

Parliament passes the coercive acts to punish the people of Massachusetts. Boston had to pay for the ruined tea. Colonists called these acts the Intolerable acts.

-Minute men faced off against British at Lexington and Concord.
-British were forced to retreat to Boston after.

-Turning point of the wear because the French helped America and won the war.

A

AKA siege of Yorktown. Last major battle of the war. The continental army and the French worked together. British was forced to surrender and America won.
