2
Q
Flop
Vs c-bet
A
- Apply XR hotspot strategy. Call most pairs, except for our weakest pairs on the more interactive textures. Never fold 8-out straight draw+ or 9-out flush draw+. Call most of our BDFD/BDSD. Rarely fold gutters.
- All of these benchmarks should be tightened when we face ⅔+ c-bet sizing, and/or are multi-way.
3
Q
Flop
Multi-way vs. c-bet:
A
Do not apply hotspots with a player left to act. Increase equity requirements for hotspots when closing the action vs. a player who has bet into a multi-way pot.
4
Q
Turn
HU after villain B-B:
A
HU after villain B-B: Defend according to the Mass Clone article: “How To Defend OOP From BB vs. a Double Barrel”
5
Q
Turn
HU after flop XR:
A
Barrel premium value. ONLY continue bluffing with 8-out straight draw+ or 9-out flush draw+, 1/2 pot.
6
Q
Turn
HU after villain X on flop:
A
Delay c-bet stab TPMK+ and all hands without showdown value, 1/2 pot.
- We are only stabbing turn with value hands strong enough to bet for 2 streets.
- With all other marginal pairs, we are preparing to XC-XC or X-XC turn and river on virtually all textures.
7
Q
River
Vs. villain’s X-C:
A
After delayed C-betting the turn and getting called:
- With value hands, favor increasing bet sizing to 2/3 pot - overbet depending on hand strength.
- Overbets should be very polarized (sets +), 1.5/2x pot. The more nutted your hand the larger you can bet.
