- Constant squint
- Latent squint (only when tired etc)
- Transient squint (noticeable for short periods)
- Alternating squints
- Pseudo squint (looks like a squint because of eyelid shape)

A
Constant and alternating

What must be excluded when a patient first presents with squint?
A
Retinoblastoma, congenital cataract, glaucoma

At what age should a true squint be corrected
A
1-2 years

Is a squint present at birth?
A
No. Appears as baby learns to use the eyes (2 weeks to 3-4 months). Can appear late, even as an adult.
